Terms and conditions of sale Common rules from product selection and quotations to order confirmation. Legal & policies Contact us From requirements to a well-defined order. Equipment protection and delivery illustration At a glance Research purchases can combine equipment, accessories, software, installation and documentation. Clear requirements help procurement, finance and the lab work from the same information. Provide models, quantities, destination and institutional requirements together. Discuss timing, acceptance criteria and special uses before the order is confirmed. Provide models, intended use, existing equipment and purchasing region. Describe the requirements Check configuration, services, taxes, timing and document validity. Review the quotation Complete institutional approval and confirm payment and delivery details. Confirm the order Prepare in three steps 1. Seller, buyer and quotations The formal quotation and order confirmation identify the parties, currency, tax, freight, lead time, payment terms and quotation validity. A proforma invoice, cart or inquiry does not by itself confirm payment or credit approval. 2. Orders and payment Check the model, configuration, quantity, shipping and invoice details before ordering. Contract formation follows the express checkout notice and seller’s order confirmation. Use only payment methods available for that order; payment status depends on bank or payment-provider verification. 3. Changes, cancellation and customization Request changes or cancellation through the customer portal or sales contact. Orders already in procurement, custom manufacture or delivery require review of what can be reversed and any actual costs, followed by agreement. Additional charges must not be imposed without explanation. 4. Delivery, warranty and statutory rights Delivery and acceptance, returns and refunds, and warranty and repair follow their respective policies and express order agreements. Institutional research procurement and personal consumer purchases can have different rules. A research-product label does not remove consumer rights where the law applies. 5. Cross-border orders and documentation Before a cross-border order is confirmed, identify the importer, trade terms, customs documents, allocation of duties and taxes, and required authorizations. Keep quotations, confirmations, payment evidence, delivery and acceptance records. 6. Information to prepare before purchasing Prepare the research objective, channels or interfaces, existing equipment and software, budget range and target timing. Separate standard equipment, optional accessories, training, transport and installation. A series name alone does not define the delivery scope. Explain any quotation, tender or supplier-registration document requirements. 7. Changes and consistent documentation Configuration, quantity, address or billing changes may affect price, delivery and scheduled services. Reference the quotation or order when requesting a change, then use the confirmed update for payment and receipt. Where separate documents cover equipment, software and services, check their scope, version and confirmation date. Policy details Inquiries and quotations support discussion. Order acceptance, payment and supply follow the applicable agreement and confirmation. Does an inquiry create an accepted order? List installation, training and transport needs and confirm inclusion, provider and itemized charges. Can equipment and services be quoted together? Raise them before quotation and order confirmation, with scope, verification and change implications explicitly agreed. When should I raise custom requirements?
