Software license and subscriptions Understand licensing for bundled software, analysis modules and subscriptions. Legal & policies Find documents Match software access to the way your lab works. Documents and collaboration illustration At a glance Bundled software, separate modules, subscriptions and third-party components may use different licenses. Check the license holder, devices and included features before installation. This guide covers installation, upgrades, replacement devices and expiry, helping you manage both access and research data. Check versions, modules, user or device scope and duration. Confirm the license scope Follow compatibility guidance and check activation rules before replacement or handover. Plan installation and changes Retain license evidence and back up or export before upgrades or expiry. Keep data and evidence Prepare in three steps 1. License basis and scope Software use is governed by the acquired version, device, user or seat scope and license evidence. Under the current description, Inper Studio is bundled with the system and advanced analysis modules are licensed annually; the order and entitlement record define included items and duration. 2. Use and restrictions Install and use the software and make permitted backups within the license scope. Check conditions before transferring devices, changing users or adding seats. Unauthorized distribution, rental, resale or bypassing licensing controls is prohibited; conduct expressly permitted by applicable law is not improperly restricted. 3. Updates, subscriptions and expiry Update support, maintenance duration, renewal pricing and features after expiry follow the relevant product and subscription notice. Automatic renewal or additional charges must not be treated as authorized without the required agreement. Keep important research data backed up in accessible formats. 4. Third-party components and data Third-party and open-source components may have their own licenses and notices. A software license does not transfer ownership of your research data. Online processing features also follow the privacy policy and relevant service notices. 5. Installation, replacement and handover Check operating systems, hardware, required modules and license information before installation. Before replacing a computer, reinstalling, adding users or handing access to another researcher, confirm permitted use, any deactivation requirements and evidence to retain. Do not publish license keys, credentials or sensitive installation logs. 6. Preparing data for upgrades and expiry Back up data, settings and analysis records and review changes and compatibility before upgrading. A newer version does not guarantee compatibility with every older project. Before subscription or maintenance expiry, confirm retained features and ending services and export important records in usable formats. Licensing and data ownership are separate matters.
