Warranty, repair and calibration Warranty coverage, repair procedures and calibration services to help manage equipment downtime. Legal & policies Contact us A clearer path to equipment care. Equipment protection and delivery illustration At a glance Warranty, repair and calibration address different needs. The equipment condition, fault circumstances and requested service help determine whether troubleshooting, return repair or calibration is appropriate. The existing standard description is two years for systems and one year for accessories from installation acceptance. Check the relevant evidence for specific models, consumables, third-party parts and special agreements. Record the model, serial number, versions and warranty evidence. Prepare equipment information Explain triggers, errors and safe checks already completed. Describe reproducible symptoms Confirm costs, return requirements, backups and outcome records. Agree on service and follow-up Prepare in three steps 1. Standard warranty Under the current service description, systems carry a two-year warranty and accessories a one-year warranty, starting from installation acceptance. Specific models, consumables, third-party components or services may have stated conditions; refer to the product page, order, warranty evidence and applicable law. 2. Coverage and exceptions Warranty primarily addresses defects in materials or manufacture under normal installation, use and maintenance. Wear, misuse or unauthorized modifications are assessed against the cause of failure. Opening packaging or requesting assistance does not automatically remove obligations required by law. 3. Service requests and repairs Provide the order or purchase evidence, serial number, software version and reproducible issue details. Follow troubleshooting guidance first; obtain a service reference, address and packing requirements before return. Out-of-warranty work requires agreement on findings, quotation and remedy before paid work proceeds. 4. Calibration, data and service results Calibration and preventive maintenance are included only where specified by the product or service order. Calibration intervals depend on the manual, usage and experimental requirements. Back up research materials and disclose contamination or safety risks before service. Review the service report, test results and subsequent warranty arrangements on completion. 5. What makes a useful service report Provide the model, serial number, purchase or acceptance evidence, hardware and software versions, and the date, frequency and steps associated with the fault. Distinguish startup failure, intermittent behavior, measurement deviation and accessory damage. Add clear photos, errors or de-identified logs. Do not bypass protections to reproduce a fault or open equipment without guidance. 6. Records before and after service For a return repair, follow the confirmed packing list and document condition and packaging. Back up important data and settings and discuss cleaning for exposed parts. Retain the service report and review work performed, configuration changes and recommended follow-up. Confirm calibration, metrology or performance checks separately; a completed repair does not itself establish those results. Policy details You may request repair or inspection; feasibility, cost and arrangements depend on the model, parts and assessment. Can I request service after warranty expiry? They serve different purposes. Confirm calibration scope, documentation and costs separately. Is calibration the same as warranty repair? Back up necessary information and agree with support on the minimum data needed for diagnosis, de-identifying it where possible. Should I remove data before service?
